Restorative Dentistry for a Complete and Beautiful Smile

Teeth with roots and a missing tooth with a dental implant

Dental Implants

Dental implants are the absolute best method of support for your crowns, bridges, and dentures. Surgically implanted at the jawbone, implants can provide a lifetime of incredibly stable retention for your restorations. For patient convenience, Main Dentistry can oversee your entire dental implant process. Our dentist can determine your candidacy, perform preparatory work, work closely with the surgical specialist, provide the necessary restorations, and oversee all your post-operative needs. Dental implants not only provide excellent support for dentures and crowns, but also help retain bone mass in the jaw following tooth loss.

Dental Crowns and Bridges

Dental crowns and bridges can restore or replace damaged or missing teeth. A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that fits over a damaged tooth to provide support. A crown can also restore a dental implant as a single tooth replacement. A bridge, or partial denture, can replace one or more consecutive teeth. Main Dentistry can meet your unique restoration needs with bridges and crowns made from porcelain, metal, or porcelain fused to metal. You can feel confident knowing that your restorations will be custom crafted to provide excellent functionality and aesthetics.

Tooth-colored Fillings

Following cavity treatment, tooth-colored fillings can restore the structure and appearance of your tooth. At Main Dentistry, we only use tooth-colored composite fillings that blend in seamlessly with your smile. Composite fillings are virtually indistinguishable from natural enamel, and they expand and contract at nearly the same rate as your natural tooth for excellent compatibility. If you are looking to upgrade your fillings, Dr. Basawaraj can also replace your metal fillings with tooth-colored fillings for a rejuvenated look.

Root Canal Therapy

If decay progresses into the inner pulp chamber of a tooth, root canal therapy can salvage the outer structure. Dr. Basawaraj provides gentle, effective treatment designed to maintain your comfort during this procedure. During a root canal, your dentist will first remove the pulp from within the tooth and root canals. Next, the tooth will be filled, sealed, and reshaped to accommodate a dental crown. Finally, the tooth will be capped with a crown that is custom crafted to fit your smile. Although the procedure is virtually painless, we offer sedation options for anxious or sensitive patients.
